Non-contact and high-speed flaw detection! A testing method using electromagnetic induction phenomena to detect defects on the surface of conductors.
The "Eddy Current Testing" is a method that detects flaws by utilizing the eddy currents generated in a conductive test specimen when a coil carrying alternating current is brought close to it, through the phenomenon of electromagnetic induction. When there are flaws on or near the surface of the test specimen, the flow of eddy currents is disturbed, resulting in a change in the impedance of the coil. This change is captured to detect flaws such as thinning or cracks, and to determine material properties. The test specimens are conductive and can be applied to both non-magnetic and ferromagnetic materials. 【Features】 ■ Detects flaws by utilizing the eddy currents generated in the test specimen ■ Rapidly detects flaws occurring on or near the surface non-contactly ■ Conducts detection of flaws such as thinning or cracks and material identification ■ Applicable to both non-magnetic and ferromagnetic materials *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
