Adopting a truss structure to create a spacious large space! Case study of a wooden precut factory.
We will introduce construction examples of "system buildings" that allow for the selection of suitable roofs, walls, and structures based on the intended use, size, and regional environment of factories and warehouses, achieving short construction periods and low costs. In a precut lumber factory located in Shizuoka Prefecture, a truss structure was adopted for the roof framework, achieving a spacious large space of (60m + 45m) with only one middle column over a span of 105m in the gable direction. The steel columns are painted a vibrant red, while the beams are a refreshing blue (the image color of Polatec). Combined with the simple truss structure, this creates a bright and light image. 【Construction Example】 - Completion Date: January 2013 (Heisei 25) - Location: Shizuoka Prefecture - Total Floor Area: 15,227.54 m² (4,606.33 tsubo) *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
