In the fiscal year 1999, the Ministry of Construction conducted a survey on the implementation status of large-scale renovation work for condominiums. According to the survey results regarding "how many years after construction the roof waterproofing renovation was carried out," the majority of waterproofing renovation work is performed between 9 to 12 years after construction, accounting for about half of the total. Approximately 80% of the renovations were carried out between 9 to 16 years. Additionally, the condition of the existing waterproof layer, the site environment, and the budget... are all very important factors in selecting the renovation method that best meets the customer's needs.
