We take pride in our numerous delivery achievements by incorporating the know-how and high technical skills developed with fixed-pitch propellers into our environmentally friendly, high-efficiency variable-pitch propellers.
**Features** By controlling the wing angle, it becomes easy to move forward, stop, and reverse. This provides convenience when frequent changes in ship speed are necessary, such as during entering and leaving ports or during docking and undocking, especially when combined with side thrusters. Additionally, in the event of an emergency stop, it can immediately respond from full forward to full reverse. By adjusting the wing angle, the engine can always operate at the most efficient load, allowing for free adjustment of the ship's speed. This can lead to reductions in fuel consumption and NOx emissions. Due to these advantages, it is widely adopted in various types of vessels, including fishing boats, tankers, ferries, and tugboats.

basic information
【 Merits 】 - It is possible to operate in a way that effectively utilizes the main engine output and minimizes fuel consumption. - By continuously operating from full forward to full reverse, efficient driving, high stopping performance, and reduced berthing and unberthing times can be achieved. - Fuel consumption can be reduced by operating at the optimal efficiency point, taking into account propeller propulsion efficiency and main engine fuel consumption, among other factors. - Even for vessels like trawlers and tugboats, which experience significant changes in loading conditions, the required vessel speed or thrust can be achieved. - During operations in rough weather, reducing the propeller pitch angle compared to normal operations can help avoid torque surges in the main engine.

Applications/Examples of results
【 XS Type CPP 】 Primarily adopted for medium and small vessels with a power output of 5,000 PS or less, it features a hydraulic cylinder that controls the blade angle, located inside the cylinder axis of the vessel. The force generated by the hydraulic cylinder is transmitted to the propeller hub through a deflection rod (push-pull rod), changing the blade angle. The structure is simple, reducing maintenance costs. The inside of the hub is lubricated with grease, preventing oil leaks from the hub and eliminating concerns about environmental pollution. 【 XL Type CPP 】 Primarily adopted for large vessels with a power output of over 5,000 PS, it features a hydraulic cylinder that controls the blade angle, located inside the propeller hub on the outside. The hydraulic cylinder installed inside the propeller hub can directly move the propeller blades, allowing for precise control of the blade angle. Additionally, with a deflection pressure set at a high level of 12.5 MPa, it can accommodate high power outputs. Furthermore, by employing a flow direction control valve for blade angle control, even when the movement of the blade angle is slowed down by time programming, the movement is not an inching operation but rather smooth and delicate.
