The HPM series, designed to pursue excellent accuracy and long lifespan, detects airborne particles with an accuracy within ±15% and operates stably for 20,000 hours.
The "HPM Series" particle sensor is a laser light scattering type particle sensor that detects and counts particles present in the surrounding environment within a concentration range of 0 μg/m3 to 1,000 μg/m3. When particles drawn into the detection chamber are illuminated by laser light, the particles passing through the laser light obscure the light source, causing it to darken, and this is recorded as an image (light detector). Subsequently, this image is analyzed and converted into an electrical signal representing the size and quantity of the particles, allowing for real-time calculation of the concentration. Honeywell's particle sensor provides particle concentration information corresponding to the specified particle concentration range.
