Projection onto the walls of a circular chapel! An example of spatial production using 360° projection mapping.
We would like to introduce a case study of "360° Video Chapel Projection Mapping Performance." At the wedding venue Narita View Hotel, we projected video onto the 360° walls of the chapel, creating a projection mapping performance. By projecting onto the circular walls, the space is surrounded by the video, allowing guests to experience a sense of presence as if they were truly there. Images that evoke the feeling of being blessed by the sea, forest creatures, and natural light are switched for each scene of the ceremony, adding color to the venue and beautifully highlighting the bride and groom. The spatial performance through projection mapping can transform a space into another world with just a single video.
