It has excellent salt damage resistance and rust resistance due to a strong protective coating that greatly exceeds the performance of plating.
The High Guard Chain forms a strong, matte white protective coating on the surface of the chain. It is highly resistant to salt damage and rust. It has the same strength as standard roller chains and is ideal for situations where stainless chains cannot meet strength requirements. ■Features The High Guard coating acts as a sacrificial anode to the chain body, ensuring sufficient corrosion resistance even if the coating is slightly peeled off. The coating is non-chrome, environmentally friendly. It does not contain hexavalent chromium due to hazardous substance regulations (EU RoHS directive). ■Examples of Use - Areas requiring both corrosion resistance and strength: multi-story parking lots, moving decks, cleaning lines, etc. - Areas exposed to rain or seawater: outdoor equipment, amusement machines, etc.
