The DID HI-PWR-SHK roller chain is a chain with thicker link plates than the HI-PWR-S roller chain, boasting the highest tensile strength and allowable tension among Daido Kogyo's general-purpose chains, making it suitable for low-speed heavy-load transmission. Both the tensile strength and maximum allowable tension are improved compared to standard roller chains; however, the weight of the chain also increases, which reduces operational performance at high speeds, making it ideal for low-speed heavy-load applications.
