Due to the increased demand for lower loss resulting from faster data transfer speeds and concerns about interference with the frequency bands of various antennas inside IoT devices, noise countermeasures for electronic components installed within devices are required. Our company has contributed to the high performance of information and communication equipment through the development and sales of fine coaxial connectors in the "CABLINE(R) series." In this context, we have developed the "CABLINE(R)-VS II," a fine coaxial connector compatible with Thunderbolt(TM) 3 (20 Gbps/lane), equipped with noise countermeasures using a 360-degree EMI shield cover. This fine coaxial connector adopts a fully shielded cover to provide a solution that balances noise countermeasures within devices and compliance with high-speed transmission standards. By employing a 360-degree shield cover, EMI is reduced, and design flexibility is enhanced. Additionally, there is no need for extra measures such as applying shield tape or using separately attached shield covers for noise countermeasures.

CABLINE-VS II Coupling State When the plug and receptacle are coupled, a height of 1.2mm (max.) is maintained, and high coupling retention is ensured through EMI protection provided by the shield cover and mechanical locking. There is no need to prepare additional anti-pull tapes or shield tapes.
