The "Ampt V1300 String Optimizer" is a DC/DC converter aimed at improving the performance of mega-solar systems and reducing system costs. The Ampt String Optimizer also performs output voltage/current limiting on individual string optimizers, leading to cost reductions in electrical-related BOS and inverters.
