Wincomm, a leader in Taiwan's industrial and medical computer industry, has released an option for its IP66 completely dustproof and waterproof panel PC series that allows for a rich selection of I/O ports by adopting a "cable gland method." In the previous IP66 completely dustproof and waterproof panel PC "WTP series," the I/O connectors were fixed, but now it has become possible to offer more flexible options. The standard model of the completely dustproof and waterproof panel PC "WTP series" employs an 8-pin type M12 metal connector (IP68 compliant) to maintain "IP66/IP69K (protected against moisture ingress from high-pressure, high-temperature steam cleaning)," and due to internal wiring constraints, the I/O ports were fixed. By adopting the "cable gland method" and installing grommet-type cable entry holes that can accommodate dust and water protection, it is now possible to select up to 5 I/O ports corresponding to the motherboard of each product (the I/O ports vary by model).

Wincomm, with its long-standing achievements in the industrial computer sector, has released a 24-inch full HD version of its completely dustproof and waterproof panel PC series, available in two models: one with a Celeron CPU and another with a 6th generation Core i5. The stainless steel housing of the dustproof and waterproof 'WTP series' has won the "Best Choice Golden Award" in Taiwan in 2018. This product comes standard with a projected capacitive multi-touch screen and meets IP66 (protection against heavy rain) and IP69K (resistant to high temperatures, high water pressure, and steam jet cleaning) standards, making it suitable for various harsh environments, particularly in the food, pharmaceutical, and sheet metal processing industries. The WTP series features SUS304 stainless steel housing across all models (with optional SUS316 available) and guarantees standard IP66 and optional IP69K through rigorous pre-shipment testing. Additionally, a "flat antenna" option is available alongside traditional wireless LAN/Bluetooth antennas, allowing for a safer design that eliminates the need to remove the antenna during high-pressure cleaning.
