In Yuasa Town, Wakayama Prefecture, two drinking water tanks have been installed on higher ground with the tsunami evacuation from the Nankai Trough mega-earthquake in mind. Most drinking water tanks widely used across the country are horizontally cylindrical and require large delivery vehicles, making them unsuitable for narrow access roads.
