We would like to introduce a case where our seismic-resistant water storage tank for drinking water was installed as an emergency water supply tank in Omaezaki City, Shizuoka Prefecture. To date, a total of 10 seismic-resistant water storage tanks for drinking water have been installed in Omaezaki City, of which 5 are our products. Most of the installation locations are in parking lots of elementary schools, community centers, and public housing. Due to space constraints for construction, our vertical cylindrical well sinking method, which requires a smaller excavation area, was mainly adopted. There were relatively few parking restrictions during construction, and considerations for residents and safety also influenced the product selection.
