The "SRShotcrete Method" is a technique that enhances seismic performance by spraying a special polymer cement mortar to integrate with existing RC bridge piers. It can be applied to bridge piers where wrapping with RC methods exceeds the construction limits and riverbed obstruction rates, or where increased load on the pier foundation is a concern, by wrapping with a thickness of 250mm or more.
