It is suitable for the storage of machinery, parts, and tools, as well as for rust prevention in the final stages of production. RP1000 has a rust prevention capability of over one year when used as is. It is water-displacing, allowing it to be used even with water droplets on the surface of metals. Due to its thin film type, machines and parts that have been treated for rust prevention can be operated and assembled without removing the rust prevention coating after storage. There is no seizing even when used on sliding or rotating parts. When used for short-term rust prevention (3 to 6 months), it should be diluted with kerosene at a ratio of 1:1 (twice as much kerosene).
