The "Ireisutube" is a tube made of five layers that solves the issues of gas barrier properties and operating temperature. It detects fires before the abnormal heat generation of lithium-ion batteries reaches 120°C and quickly releases extinguishing agents. To accelerate fire detection and extinguishing agent release, PE-based resins are used, while a resin layer specifically designed for barrier properties is incorporated to prevent the permeation and reduction of extinguishing agents and N2 gas during standby.
