The voice coil motor (VCM) is an electromagnetic actuator that achieves high responsiveness and bidirectional operation. As a result, it enables various movements that are not possible with conventional solenoids when combined with driver circuits. 【Features】 ■ Generates force by utilizing the interaction between the magnetic field produced by permanent magnets and the current flowing through the coil. ■ Linear bidirectional operation. ■ The movable part is the coil, allowing for weight reduction and thus high responsiveness. ■ Due to the good linearity of the "thrust: current" characteristic, it can be used in open control when combined with a return spring mechanism. ■ By combining with sensor circuits and driver circuits for closed-loop control, precise movements can be achieved.
