The cone mandrel bending tester can perform bending tests of different diameters at once with cone shapes ranging from 3.2 to 38.1 mm in diameter.
This is a device to determine how the elasticity, adhesion, and elongation of hardened paint films on metal sheets are affected by bending. You can bend only a part of the sample or the entire length of the mandrel. In a single test, you can observe results (cracking of the paint film) due to various bending radii. It is recommended to use both testing machines, as the cylindrical testing machine makes it clearer where the cracking stops.
