The AT series is a Rockwell Brinell hardness testing machine developed by Ernst based on years of experience. Conventional hardness testers require the reference surface to be on the anvil side, meaning that the sample must be parallel for testing to be conducted. To address this, Ernst has adopted a unique clamping mechanism (patented) that allows the reference surface to be on the indenter side, enabling testing without being affected by the shape or size of the sample. This makes it easy to conduct tests in manufacturing environments. It is a high-precision hardness testing machine that complies with JIS, ASTM, and DIN standards.
