The crack-resistant special asphalt pavement, Relaxphalt HT, can cover both cracking and rutting. The mixture used in the surface layer of Relaxphalt HT excels in "flexibility" from low to high temperatures and has excellent "resistance to plastic deformation" at high temperatures, with a fatigue resistance that is 13 times greater than that of modified Type 2 mixtures based on bending fatigue tests.
