**Jet Injection Automatic Strainer Cleaning** There are several types of automatic strainers, including brush-type, backflow-type, and scraper-type. The ARS series adopts a jet injection method, which is different from these types, performing "non-contact high-pressure cleaning using a wear-resistant nozzle." It is characterized by its ability to be used for a long time while maintaining high cleaning capability throughout that period. **Mechanism of Automatic Cleaning** The ARS series detects the accumulation of foreign matter in the strainer section by measuring the differential pressure between the inflow and outflow water volumes using sensors. When the differential pressure exceeds a certain level, it stops the water supply and initiates automatic cleaning, resuming the filtration operation after the strainer cleaning and foreign matter discharge. 1. **Filtration Operation** - Raw water flows from the outside to the inside of the filter, filtering out foreign matter. 2. **Accumulation of Foreign Matter** - The accumulation of foreign matter creates a pressure difference between A and B, which is detected. 3. **Cleaning Operation** - The water supply is stopped, and jet injection cleaning begins. The removed foreign matter is discharged through the drain outlet. 4. **End of Cleaning Operation** - After a predetermined cleaning time has elapsed, the cleaning operation ends, and raw water is supplied to return to the filtration operation in step 1.
