Insert nuts for resin (plastic) have traditionally utilized knurled, square, and hexagonal shapes, which have raised concerns about the nuts deforming the resin and spinning freely (slipping or idling) when bolts are tightened with high torque. As a result, we received strong requests from customers to develop insert nuts with shapes that can withstand high torque (high torque strength). We conducted research, development, and prototyping in-house and devised an original shape of insert nut that can handle high torque.
