Kaimu paint allows "water glass" to penetrate the substrate, triggering a chemical reaction that "integrates" with it, enhancing the unique texture of the substrate while providing a rich palette of over 200 colors. This results in strong resistance to ultraviolet rays, pollutants, and the proliferation of mold and moss. By applying a clear color finish, especially on concrete (also applicable to brick, plaster, mortar, etc.), it protects the concrete from weathering and prevents erosion from intense external air pollutants. The surface of the concrete retains the feel of the formwork boards completely. The concrete surface will have a mineral matte finish. By using a dedicated thinner (Kaimu Concretal Fixative or Kaimu Concretal Base AP), a variety of dilution rates can achieve lighter color finishes. Additionally, visual defects such as dirt and color tone differences can be offset. Kaimu Concretal Raswa can finish interior exposed concrete walls and exterior concrete surfaces with a light color that maintains the original texture.

Keim Concretal-Lasur is a silicate paint for the protection of indoor and outdoor concrete. When diluted with Keim ConcretalBase or Keim Concretal-Fixativ, it becomes lighter in color and forms a thin film. An opaque finish is also possible. By diluting with Keim ConcretalBase or Keim Concretal-Fixativ as needed, it can be used to conceal stains on concrete, repair color variations in concrete, or achieve a finish similar to mud paint.
