Evaluation test booth capable of accommodating various tests.
To improve the speed of product development and reliability, we want to conduct various evaluation tests in-house that were previously outsourced. To achieve this, we would like to set up a new evaluation testing booth, but there are constraints regarding installation space and costs, so we want it to be designed to accommodate all tests. - As a testing room, cleanliness management (Class 1000) and temperature and humidity control are necessary. - The test items will include microbial testing and VOC testing. Issues: 1. Measures must be taken to contain microbes during microbial testing to prevent leakage to the outside. 2. To ensure the rigor of microbial testing, temperature and humidity management must be properly conducted during the tests. 3. For VOC testing, the VOC concentration in the testing room must be controlled to be below the specified value. 4. After VOC testing, proper exhaust must be conducted to ensure that VOCs do not remain in the testing room.

basic information
The materials used to construct the booth for the microbial test include SUS material and antimicrobial panels. To enable VOC testing, all sealing materials are selected to be low outgassing. During testing, the booth is maintained under negative pressure as a containment measure, and after testing, it can be managed under positive pressure for exhaust, with each FFU (fan filter unit) for supply and exhaust designed to be switched using inverter control. For temperature and humidity management, an efficient circulation method is employed to maintain target values consistently. However, during microbial and VOC testing, electromagnetic valves are used to prevent leakage to the air conditioning unit. After the VOC test, the system is switched to positive pressure, and exhaust is processed using both wet and dry scrubbers. Points: 1. Create a work procedure manual to ensure that the switching between negative and positive pressure is carried out properly, preventing leaks. 2. Select scrubbers to ensure thorough processing after confirming the types of organic solvents subject to VOC testing in advance. 3. Install sterilization lamps and perform exhaust after irradiating the booth with them following the microbial test to implement leakage prevention measures.
