[Case Study] Transforming an Existing Room into a Clean Room through Temperature and Humidity Control
Transforming existing rooms into clean rooms through temperature and humidity management.
An offset printing machine was introduced into an existing building (with general air conditioning). Due to the surrounding environment, issues such as printing inconsistencies and misalignment occurred, and debris adhered to the printed materials, necessitating improvements to the equipment environment. Issues: 1. The use of only general air conditioning leads to significant printing inconsistencies due to the influence of equipment heat and surrounding temperature. 2. There are fine particles of debris adhering to the printed materials during quality checks after printing. 3. The working environment is poor due to heat generated by the machine's motor and friction. 4. The installation room is too large, resulting in inadequate air conditioning coverage.

basic information
Limit to the minimum necessary space and create an environment managed at a temperature of 25°C ± 3°C and humidity of 50% ± 10% throughout the year, improving quality and labor conditions. 1. Change the current room size of W17500 × D12000 × H3500 to the minimum necessary space to enhance the efficiency of air conditioning management. Use 42 tons of insulation panels for clean rooms, reducing it to W17500 × D4500 × H3500. 2. Manage temperature with two Daikin multi air conditioners and two outdoor air processing air conditioners. 3. Introduce four Wetmaster ultrasonic humidifiers for humidity control. A pure water system will also be installed simultaneously. By installing high-performance filters in the multi air conditioners and medium + high-performance filters in the outdoor air processing, we achieve a quasi-clean room environment, preventing foreign matter adhesion.
