[Case Study] Proposing dust control and environmental improvements that do not reduce work efficiency!
We propose dust control measures and environmental improvements that do not reduce work efficiency!
The food company was struggling with dust control measures during the raw material input process into the tank. Issues: 1. When a person pours powder into the inlet of the small tank, dust swirls around the room. 2. There is a steam exhaust outlet at the top of the tank. 3. When dust on the floor and equipment gets moisture, it becomes sticky, requiring cleaning every time work is done. 4. For hygiene reasons, the floor cannot be cleaned with a hose. 5. There are no scaffolding or platforms around the tank, making work difficult.

basic information
We proposed to enclose the dust generation area with a booth and collect dust locally. A new drainage line has been established to allow for washing away the dust that has settled inside the booth. Points: 1. To limit the area where the powder can disperse, enclose the area around the tank with a booth. 2. Install a dust collector to locally collect dust near the tank's inlet. 3. Ensure that the drainage from the washed water can be collected in the adjacent existing water catchment pan. 4. Apply caulking to joints and gaps to prevent water from leaking outside when washing the inside of the booth. 5. Install a hood at the steam generation area for ventilation and pipe the cooled and condensed water droplets to the drainage. 6. Reinforce the water catchment plate so that it can also be used as a workbench.
