We would like to introduce a case study of installing "electrode-less lamps" at Company Y's large factory. The "electrode-less lamp," which is gaining attention as a third option to replace mercury lamps with LEDs, has a completely different structure from traditional light bulbs that use a filament. Since it has no electrodes, it offers a long lifespan and a gentle brightness. Before installation, there were 32 mercury lamps of 700W each, with a total power consumption of 24.0 kW. After installing 17 units of the electrode-less lamp TL8-400E (400W), the total power consumption was reduced to 7.14 kW.
