This is an introduction to the control box MCL2, which is a switching power supply method (SMPS) dedicated to the Dewart Oking actuators. It offers various advantages compared to traditional EI transformers and toroidal transformers, as follows: It supports use in various countries (only the power cable needs to be replaced for AC100-240V). It is lighter than conventional models (approximately 900g) and has a standby power consumption of less than 0.5W, making it an eco-friendly product. It consistently supplies a constant voltage (DC29V), which means that the speed of the actuator is less likely to decrease even under load. Up to four actuators can be connected, and synchronizing two units is also available as an option. The controller features a standard waterproof function of IPX6. An optional control box port for connecting a dedicated battery can be equipped, and it is also possible to output power for external lights. Additionally, it is possible to connect operation switches other than the main switch. The control box is available in three output capacities: 100W, 160W, and 230W, to accommodate the load of the actuators.
