Starting in April, two new products, "Rust Inhibitor" and "Reinforcing Agent," will be added to the RC Gardex series of inorganic permeable concrete modifiers (surface impregnation materials).
In addition to the 10 products in the RC Gardex series (surface penetration method materials) that have been sold traditionally, we have newly added two products: "rust prevention enhancer" and "enhancer."

basic information
"RC Gardex Rust Inhibitor" This is a coating-type rust inhibitor primarily composed of calcium nitrite. By applying this product, the nitrite ions of the rust inhibitor that penetrate deeply into the concrete regenerate a passive film on the surface of the rebar within the structure, preventing and suppressing corrosion of the rebar. While this product can be used alone, it is effective in combination with the RC Gardex series to suppress cracking and spalling, and in aging concrete, it imparts alkalinity to suppress neutralization deterioration. "RC Gardex Strengthening Agent" This is a coating-type strengthening agent primarily composed of calcium salts. After application, the calcium ions of the strengthening agent that penetrate deeply into the concrete react with the RC Gardex to suppress cracking repairs and spalling. This product should be used in conjunction with the RC Gardex series.

Japan's structural body treatment focuses on the inorganic materials inherent in concrete and has developed the "Inorganic Penetrating Concrete Modifier RC Gardex Series," which incorporates a unique functional catalyst. This product is an odorless, water-based inorganic surface impregnation material, resulting in minimal environmental impact and effects on human health. Focusing on "products that are friendly to structures and the environment," it not only applies to new concrete but also offers a new approach to extending the lifespan, enhancing durability, and protecting against various deterioration factors for existing concrete. We will continue to actively engage in the development of new products and aim to play a pioneering role in the field of surface impregnation materials and inorganic penetrating modifiers.
