● By adopting a brushless structure and using plastic for the propeller and body, the startup wind speed is low at 0.3 m/s, and it can measure from a light breeze (0.4 m/s) to strong winds (70 m/s). ● The responsiveness to wind speed fluctuations has dramatically improved, with a distance constant of 4.0 m or less (compared to the conventional 8.0 m). ● It outputs a linearized analog signal from the transmitter, allowing for direct connection to data loggers and recorders. ● The main unit weighs 3.2 kg, making it compact and lightweight (compared to the conventional model at 5.9 kg). Additionally, it uses a plug-in mounting method, allowing for easy attachment and detachment from a steel pipe support at high altitudes. (The traditional flange mounting method is also available as an option.) It directly outputs 4-20 mA from the transmitter, making it ideal for industrial process control applications. Furthermore, it employs magnetic pulses (for wind speed) and optical encoders (for wind direction) for signal extraction, maintaining high reliability with minimal influence from ambient temperature and aging changes.
