Issues: At a shipyard in the Chugoku region of Japan, various experiments on the hull were conducted using a water flow testing machine that transfers cylindrical specimens. The oil seal area of the testing machine was coated with general-purpose oil and grease, but there were frequent issues where oil seeped into the water flow, disrupting the experiments.
