The digital simple business radio (licensed station) "Icom IC-DU65C" has newly developed a dedicated custom LSI. By using SoC (System-on-a-chip), we have reviewed the number of components and internal structure, resulting in a slim and lightweight body with a thickness of 29.5mm and a weight of 245g (when equipped with lithium-ion battery BP-274). Thanks to an energy-saving design that reduces maximum standby current consumption by approximately 37.5% compared to previous models, it achieves about 20 hours of operation on a single charge.
