CO2 concentration in the liquid phase and gas phase can be measured.
■Features ●Excellent Selectivity The diaphragm-type glass electrode method ensures that the influence of other mixed gases is negligible, except for volatile weak acids and acidic gases. Additionally, the impact of humidity is minimal, and dehumidification treatment is unnecessary. ●Concentration Conversion Function It is possible to switch between gas phase concentration: % (v/v) and liquid phase concentration: mg/L settings. ●Memory Function for 1000 Data Points Automatic memory at regular intervals is also possible. *Short interval memory function: 1 second to 99 minutes 59 seconds or long interval memory function: 2 minutes to 99 hours 59 minutes (In the long interval memory function, after one minute of measurement, the power will be OFF (in sleep mode) until the next measurement.) ●Excellent Expandability (can be connected to a computer, external printer, recorder, etc.) We provide dedicated data collection software to import measurement data into a computer in text format.

Applications/Examples of results
■Measurement Principle Our carbon dioxide concentration meter employs a membrane-type carbon dioxide electrode based on electrochemical operating principles. When carbon dioxide permeates the membrane and dissolves in the internal liquid, the pH of the internal liquid changes. This change in pH is proportional to the carbon dioxide concentration, allowing us to measure the pH change in the internal liquid to determine the carbon dioxide concentration. The relationship between the carbon dioxide concentration of the carbon dioxide electrode and the generated potential is shown in the figure below, demonstrating excellent linearity. A change of ten times in carbon concentration results in an approximate potential change of 60 mV.
