The optical switching hub is an Ethernet switching hub with two ports for 100BASE-FX specifications compatible with single-mode optical fiber, and two ports for 10BASE-T and 100BASE-TX specifications. It has control and charging functions for a backup battery, allowing it to operate for a certain period during power outages. Additionally, to prevent the optical fiber communication path from being interrupted due to a power outage, it has a route switching function that automatically bypasses the optical fiber path to maintain the communication route when the operating power supply of the device is cut off (in the case of AC power failure or battery voltage drop).
