By pairing the MX-3 ultrasonic thickness gauge with the UMX underwater housing specifically designed for it, measurements underwater have become possible for areas that were traditionally difficult to measure, such as ship hulls, bridges, piers, steel pipe piles, and underwater pipelines. The MX-3 is a sophisticated thickness gauge equipped with single-point and dual-point calibration functions, as well as direct sound speed input capabilities. It features a scan mode that allows for high-speed scanning at 16 times per second (compared to the usual 4 times per second), and when the transducer is lifted, the minimum thickness is displayed.
