As seen in the example of the Great East Japan Earthquake, there is now a focus on continuously monitoring the displacement of ground, slopes, buildings, structures, tunnels, roads, tracks, and other structures 24 hours a day due to the effects of earthquakes and other influences. This system enables the measurement of the change in distance (displacement) to the target object by using a laser distance meter (Leica DISTO) in a fixed position with continuous measurement functionality! The measured data is automatically imported into a PC via remote control from the PC. The measurement data imported into the PC can be output as an external file in CSV format, allowing for graphing and use in other applications such as Excel, Word, and CAD. Additionally, it provides warnings through warning lights and buzzers when the set management values are exceeded.
