Environmentally friendly insulation material cellulose fiber made from leftover paper from kiosk sales, regenerated without using heat.
The market share overseas is very high, and it is an insulation material that has been around for a long time. Although it does not have a large share domestically yet, it is well-known among those who seek high quality and environmental consideration. It excels in moisture absorption and soundproofing compared to other insulation materials. Cellulose fiber is available both as imported and domestic products, but in Japan, there are JIS standards that specify flame resistance, insect resistance, and water repellency. Unlike the humid conditions in Japan, imported products may not have water-repellent treatment. Even among domestic products, the one produced in large quantities, made solely from leftover paper from kiosks, and subjected to strict quality checks more than three times a day is the Dampack from Oji Paper Co. Dampack publishes safety data for all its contents. Cellulose fiber is fundamentally based on responsible construction. In wall construction, we meticulously install a net in advance and apply it dry with a density of 60K between the studs. For insulation renovations in existing homes, since the PV is uncertain, cellulose is recommended for greater safety. We also install nets under the floor and carry out floor insulation renovations. We are a member of the NPO New Housing Association (New Wooden Housing Technology Research Council) and assist in calculating Q values and heating loads using QPEX heat loss coefficient calculation software. We also conduct airtightness measurements.

basic information
【Product Features】 - The overseas market share is 30-40%. Highly rated for safety (5% domestically). - The raw material is recycled newspaper. No heat is used during manufacturing, resulting in high environmental performance. In dry construction, insulation materials can be recovered and reused during building demolition. - Among fiber-based insulation materials, it excels in moisture absorption and soundproofing. - Unlike board-type insulation materials, it does not produce combustion gases during a fire. In terms of living conditions, it has high sound absorption, eliminating echo and allowing for comfortable living. - Due to responsible construction practices, material sales are not possible; proposals are made as a package of materials and labor. 【Construction Features】 - Horizontal ceiling: Loose fill 25K, 160mm, equivalent to 10k glass wool at 200mm. Loose fill (blowing) is a standard method in northern regions with zero physical gaps. Cellulose contains boron, an insect-repelling component also used in eye drops (safety can be confirmed via MSDS, LD50), creating an environment that is less hospitable to rodents (they become thirsty). Due to severe summer sunlight in all four areas, a specification of 230mm for Area 1 is recommended. - Walls: Net-applied dry blowing 60K uses more raw materials compared to wet methods (glued) 45K, but is effective for soundproofing. The horizontal battens are installed at 600mm intervals. Gaps around windows and finer details are filled with wool.

I believe that the feeling of 'living together' is important. With the catchphrase 'For a green and abundant Earth,' we aim to be better understanders of termites as beneficial insects on this planet, recognizing their right to exist while asking them to refrain from causing damage to necessary buildings and human society. Yes, from the idea of 'living together,' we have been promoting preventive measures. Instead of 'killing' pests, including other insects that arise, our fundamental approach is to create and maintain an environment where they do not occur. Thanks to this, we have accumulated over 200,000 construction achievements to date. Moving forward, our company will continue to prioritize technology and trust, consistently responding to our customers' needs.
