The LD-5D model is a relative concentration meter that employs a sheath air mechanism in the detection unit and incorporates a built-in suction pump, enabling measurements in relatively high dust concentration work environments such as tunnel construction sites. Relative concentration is based on the filtration collection method, and it is necessary to determine the mass concentration conversion coefficient (K value) to correct the mass concentration. However, the LD-5D allows for easy conversion and display of measurement values to mass concentration by pre-entering the mass concentration conversion coefficient. Additionally, it has similar characteristics to existing dust meters (laser light source type), allowing the use of previously established mass concentration conversion coefficients in the same work environment.
