DBC/APKeeper realizes high availability and uninterrupted service for your system in a cost-effective and diverse manner.
- DBC/APKeeper is middleware that provides services in a configuration of N nodes (servers) with two or more nodes, automatically detecting and isolating faulty nodes, and continuing services with the remaining nodes, thereby achieving service continuity (High Availability). - Node failure includes both hardware failures of the node itself and failures of applications running on the node. - DBC/APKeeper can achieve both redundant configurations of one node in operation and N-1 nodes on standby, as well as all N nodes in operation (commonly known as load balancing configuration). - Currently, we are conducting a support campaign for implementation along with DB/Control (http://www.dacc.jp/apkeeper/apkeeper_price.html).

basic information
■ High availability and service continuity at the node (server) level are achieved through a variety of system configurations. - DBC/APKeeper monitors not only the operational failures caused by hardware malfunctions of nodes but also the operation of application programs running on the nodes. - The system that achieves service continuity with DBC/APKeeper can operate in configurations such as active-standby (ACT-SBY) with two nodes, as well as configurations with N nodes, enabling both "1 node in operation, remaining N-1 nodes on standby" and "all N nodes in operation" at a low cost. ■ Standard implementation of monitoring functions for general application programs. Customers can customize monitoring conditions and add monitoring targets. - Monitoring functions for Apache, Tomcat, DBMS (PostgreSQL and MySQL), Postfix, NFS, and Samba are standardly implemented. ■ Solution "DBC/APKeeper + DB/Control" - By combining with DB/Control, it becomes possible to build Web-AP systems and internal systems that require both stringent TCO reduction and high availability.

Company information
In the upcoming world of ubiquitous computing, information will increasingly be database-driven, its scale will constantly change, and 24-hour access with consistent responses regardless of scale will be required. We aim to expand the use of open-source software (OSS) such as MySQL and PostgreSQL in this world, where databases have traditionally been built using expensive commercial DBMS. By doing so, we want to enable the construction and operation of database systems that match our customers' needs at optimal costs, making database systems more accessible and user-friendly. Based on this philosophy, we aspire to contribute to the development of society.
