PC Well Method
The PC well method involves stacking cylindrical single blocks at the construction site while introducing prestress using a post-tensioning method. The interior is excavated using various excavation machines such as hammer grabs, and ground anchors are driven and installed to a specified depth as a reaction force. The single blocks are equipped with PC copper rods, rebar placement holes, grout injection ports, and anchor plates, designed to standardize work at the construction site. The excavation methods include in-bucket excavation with hammer grab buckets and undercutting with widening excavators, making it suitable for a wide range of soil types. There are two types of PC wells: PC structure and PPRC structure. Features of the method: 1. It uses factory-manufactured precast components, ensuring thorough quality control, making it a highly reliable method. 2. Construction management is easy. 3. Since it is installed using a jacking method, it has minimal impact on the surrounding ground and is suitable for close-proximity construction. 4. It allows for low vibration, low noise, and high safety during construction. 5. It does not require temporary closures or island construction even for underwater work. 6. The construction accuracy is excellent. 7. The construction period can be shortened.

Company information
The PC Well Method Research Association was established in June 1984 with the aim of promoting the method developed by the Ministry of Construction's Civil Engineering Research Institute (at the time), which is based on the PC Well Method that involves the use of a bottom-expanding excavator and cylindrical precast concrete blocks suspended and installed as caissons. Since then, many companies have participated in the activities of the research association, and as of now, there have been over 2,500 construction achievements related to the "PC Well Method." Additionally, the "Automated Open Caisson Method (SOCS)," which has been developed since the 1990 fiscal year as part of the Ministry of Construction's comprehensive technology development project, has been adopted in nine projects to date. The research association was founded with the purpose of spreading and developing this new construction method and improving construction technology. It has established permanent committees for public relations, estimation, construction, and design, and is committed to diligent research and development, hoping to contribute, even in a small way, to national land development.
