By painting the roof and exterior walls, it efficiently reflects solar heat and mitigates the rise in temperature inside the building. ProTsubaru is a residential paint developed by Japan ProTsubaru Co., Ltd., under a technology licensing agreement with the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA). Among various JAXA technologies, it has particularly advanced the paint materials that withstand high temperatures during rocket atmospheric flight, integrating unique technologies and exploring alternative materials to meet various needs, resulting in a thermal control paint. ProTsubaru employs a selected acrylic silicone resin, which causes the resin components to come together and bond as water evaporates, creating a new, strong paint film. This is the only technology that achieves a homogeneous and stable paint film from the surface to the interior. With special pigments and ceramic balloons, it has high thermal control properties and excellent dirt-repellent performance, allowing dirt to wash away with rain, thus protecting the building over the long term and maintaining durability.
