Since April 2022, Nikkou Electric's power transformers have been made from CO2-free electricity!
Nikkodenki Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Watari-gun, Miyagi Prefecture) has replaced all the electricity used at its headquarters and Watari factory with electricity derived from renewable energy sources as of April 1, 2022.
By switching all electricity used at the headquarters and Watari factory to renewable energy sources, we have effectively reduced carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions from power generation to virtually zero.
As a result, our power transformers from April 2022 onwards are now "power transformers generated from CO2-free electricity."
Moving forward, we are committed to further reducing carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions in order to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050.
