A wooden fence that blends with the historical landscape of the small Kyoto in Harima. Tatsuno City Shimo-Kawahara Parking Lot (Hyogo Prefecture)

The feature for June is "Wooden Fences (Wooden Panel Fences)."
Currently, concrete fences in public spaces are being renewed to wooden fences (wooden panel fences). Wooden fences are lighter than concrete fences and excel in aesthetic appeal due to the warmth of wood. As part of the initiative to promote the use of wood, subsidies are being provided for wooden panel fences in the landscaping measures that began in May, focusing on the woodification of urban areas.
This time, we are introducing a case where wooden fences were supplied to the Shimo-Kawahara parking lot in Tatsuno City. The texture of wood blends well with the historical landscape of Tatsuno City, which is known as the Little Kyoto of Harima.

Tatsuno City in Hyogo Prefecture is known as the "Little Kyoto of Harima," and its historical townscape has been developed as a castle town of Tatsuno Castle. In the first year of the Reiwa era, it was designated as an Important Traditional Building Preservation District by the national government. To promote tourism, the municipal Shimokawahara parking lot has been newly developed, and our wooden board fence has been supplied around its perimeter. The design is appropriate for the entrance to the historical townscape tourism.
