The 20A and 30A hook-type L-shaped plugs have the wire insertion point oriented at a 90-degree angle to the direction of the prongs. A new hook-type grounded 3P 20A 250V rated plug has been introduced. [Model number: 4222EL] It is suitable for use in locations where the wire coming from the plugged-in plug may be obstructive or where there is a risk of it getting caught. ■ Sturdy and safe construction! The body is made of flame-retardant nylon resin (UL94 V-0) that excels in heat resistance and tracking resistance (30A uses reinforced nylon resin). The cover is made of polycarbonate resin, which is also flame-retardant (UL94 V-0) and boasts exceptional strength. ■ Reduced wiring work! The wire stripping dimensions are the same for both single-phase and three-phase connections, and by increasing the space inside the cover where the connected body is assembled, the connected wires can be smoothly accommodated. ■ Waterproof performance as well! PERI products are used on construction sites around the world. This time, we would like to introduce the "Tassonaro Railway Bridge Renovation Project" in Italy. This historic railway bridge, spanning the Tassonaro River, underwent extensive renovation work in 2023. The reason for the renovation was the cracking of the concrete due to ground subsidence. Built in the 1930s with stone and white marble, this railway bridge is approximately 200 meters long and consists of nine arches. It survived both bombing and sabotage during World War II. To protect the bridge from seismic activity caused by the clay embankment, deep foundations were excavated down to 35 meters below the river surface during construction. Structural renovations were carried out inside the nine arches of the railway bridge using concrete and rebar. To ensure the partial preservation of the structure, PERI developed a custom special solution that combined multiple products and provided support for both the planning phase and on-site construction.
