Renewal of wooden playground equipment with forest environment transfer tax. Chuo-dori Park (Tokyo).

The feature for February is "Forest Environment Transfer Tax."
The Forest Environment Transfer Tax began in the first year of Reiwa. It is distributed to each municipality at a certain rate, and in cities and towns, it is intended to be used for "costs related to forest maintenance and its promotion," such as thinning, human resource development, securing successors, and promoting and raising awareness of wood utilization.
At Zaiensu, we are proposing the use of the Forest Environment Transfer Tax in the exterior field as part of promoting forest wood utilization.
What we are introducing this time is the case of "Chuo-dori Park," which was developed by Musashino City using the Forest Environment Transfer Tax.

The wooden play equipment in the park near Musashino City Hall has been renovated. A portion of the forest environment transfer tax has been used for this renovation. The equipment uses timber from the Tama region. In response to requests for play equipment not available in Musashino City, the children's play equipment is designed to naturally create a flow of play for children by combining athletic-type items in a corridor-like arrangement. Additionally, a combination play structure and sandbox have been installed for toddlers.
