Fukuoka City utilizes quantum computers for the transportation planning of COVID-19 patients, instantly creating optimal routes.

Fukuoka City has adopted "MAGELLAN BLOCKS," a system service for creating transport itineraries for patients with COVID-19, utilizing quantum computing for route optimization.
The transport plans are created by city staff based on individual patient information, taking into account various conditions such as the availability of rooms in accommodation facilities, the capacity of each transport vehicle, the routes and travel times to visit patients' homes, and the allowable transport times.
By utilizing "MAGELLAN BLOCKS," Fukuoka City can complete the creation of efficient transport plans with a single click, significantly reducing the workload.
