From structural materials to new materials. Understand the mechanical properties of screw materials! We introduce the technical document "Textbook on Surrounding Technologies of Screws Vol. 1: How to Choose Screw Materials."

第一工業 第一工業 鋲螺事業部(ネジ・ボルト・ナット等締結部品 製造販売. 静岡県浜松市)
There are many types of screws represented by bolts and nuts, which are mainly manufactured using steel materials. In recent years, due to increasing customer needs for corrosion resistance, resistance to loosening, lightweight design, and compactness, the selection of materials other than steel has also increased. The characteristics and strength (tensile strength, yield point, etc.) of screws vary depending on the materials and processing methods used. If inappropriate materials are used, the necessary force for fastening may not be achieved, increasing the risk of serious accidents due to screw loosening or breakage. To prevent such risks, it is important to choose the optimal materials according to the purpose and usage environment. In "Textbook on Peripheral Technologies of Screws Vol. 1: How to Choose Screw Materials," we explain the mechanical properties of conventional steel materials, stainless steel, aluminum, titanium, and plastics. Please use this as a reference for selecting screw materials. You can view it for free from related catalogs. Feel free to contact us for inquiries.

Processing Methods! Understanding Steel Materials for Screws: 'Basic Knowledge of Steel Materials for Screws'

The basics of materials for screws, steel materials. I will teach you tips for selecting materials according to processing methods and applications. Includes a material table by strength classification.

Steel is widely used as a material for screws because it is inexpensive, readily available, and strong. The main types of steel used for screws include carbon steel, which is primarily composed of iron and carbon, and alloy steel, which has elements such as chromium and molybdenum added. When strength and corrosion resistance are required for screws, the chemical composition of the steel can be altered, processing methods can be changed, or heat treatment can be applied to modify the material's mechanical properties. By utilizing the characteristics of the materials, various steel screws are produced to suit different applications and purposes. This document provides a clear explanation of the types and characteristics of steel materials suitable for screw processing methods and applications, as well as the strength classifications of steel screws, offering fundamental knowledge about steel materials for screws. *If you would like to learn more about steel materials for screws, please feel free to check the PDF document. Do not hesitate to contact us with any inquiries.*

This is the basics of performance evaluation! First Industrial's screw evaluation test.

We are evaluating the performance of screws and fasteners. We will introduce the testing equipment and test examples to ensure the performance of the "screw"!

Screws are the fundamental mechanical elements that "connect things." Despite being small parts, the role of screws in "fastening" is significant. To fulfill this important role, various functions and performances are required of screws. Evaluations are diverse to confirm whether the "required performance is met." At Daiichi Industry, we assess the performance of screws and fastening bodies using various testing equipment. Due to the wide range of required functions and performances, many testing facilities are necessary, including those uniquely developed in collaboration with academia. What kind of equipment is used, and what items are evaluated? What evaluation results can be obtained from actual test examples? We introduce the test contents and inspection items with accompanying photos. Please check it out through the PDF download. Feel free to contact us as well.

SSOOボルトカタログ.JPG

Insert bolt that can be tightened without breaking the resin of "SSOO Bolt".

A high-torque compatible embedded bolt for resin that is strong against rotation and withdrawal, and does not damage the resin. It allows for nut tightening when embedded in resin parts.

The "SSOO Bolt" is a resin embedded bolt (insert bolt) with a special octagonal head shape, offering excellent torque resistance and pull-out strength. An insert bolt is a bolt that is embedded in resin and fastened with a nut. By tightening with a nut, it allows for the fastening of resin parts to each other or resin parts to metal. It minimizes deformation and cam-out of the resin when fastened with high torque, enabling nut tightening at high torque levels. It can also be used for back embedding (thermal press fitting), making it suitable for shapes that cannot be integrally molded. Since the bolt can be used in an upright position within the resin, it improves the assembly of parts. The product design has been completely revamped, and sizes from M4 to M8 are now available. 【Features】 ● Special shape that minimizes cam-out and slip even when tightened with high torque ● Strong against pull-out, preventing deformation of resin parts ● Usable for both insert (simultaneous molding) and outsert (thermal press fitting) ● Mass production possible due to unique manufacturing methods ● Trusted Octa Lobular series *For more details, please refer to the materials. Feel free to contact us with any inquiries.

Case Study 002: Verbalizing the "somewhat inconvenient" issues faced by Human Resources and General Affairs. A case of organizing challenges and proposals for a client in the medical equipment handling industry with approximately 200 employees.

  • NEW
  • OTHER

"Somehow inconvenient" can turn into "accident risk" if left unattended, rather than just being a "hassle." Especially since personnel information serves as the starting point for many operations such as payroll, social insurance, and various allowances, if the freshness and consistency of the information deteriorate, the interactions with stakeholders can increase dramatically. What we are introducing this time is the process of articulating and organizing the "vague discomfort" that a medical equipment handling company with around 200 employees was experiencing as an issue. When we articulate "somehow inconvenient"... 1) It is a hassle to communicate with the payroll BPO when there are changes to personnel information. 2) Changes submitted by employees are in Excel, requiring re-entry. 3) Employees do not submit information in the correct format. 4) The person in charge leaves before becoming fully familiar with the operations. Information from iBP In response to such situations, the first step we took was traffic organization (issue clarification). You can read the continuation without needing to input personal information. Please visit the iBusiness Partners column page! https://ibp-column.sfsite.me/35402
