Fujigas aims for carbon neutrality (net zero greenhouse gas emissions) as an LP gas operator while promoting forest conservation activities.

At Fujigas, we have started selling "Fujigas Carbon Neutral LP Gas" (FCN-LPG, commonly known as Mount Fuji LPG), which fully offsets the greenhouse gases generated during the combustion of LP gas. Using carbon credits created through the "Yamanashi Prefectural Forest Utilization Climate Change Countermeasure Project," we achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions from LP gas. In Yamanashi Prefecture, the profits from the sale of these credits will be used to promote sustainable forest management that considers further forest conservation and the preservation of biodiversity. As the number of properly managed forests increases, it will create a cycle that can prevent sediment disasters and contribute to disaster prevention.
