Notice of Temporary Suspension of Olfactory Testing

To prevent the spread of the new coronavirus, the olfactory test, which was temporarily suspended from January 8 (Friday) to February 7 (Sunday), has had its suspension period extended to March 7 (Sunday) due to the extension of the state of emergency announced on February 2. Please note that depending on the future situation of the infection spread, the suspension period may be extended further. We appreciate your understanding.
The olfactory test is conducted in person, and considering the risk of infection if sufficient preventive measures cannot be implemented, we have decided to suspend the olfactory test for the time being.
Additionally, for those whose odor judgment certification expires during this period and are unable to renew their certification, it will be considered as falling under the "unavoidable circumstances" as per Article 14 of the Odor Prevention Law Enforcement Regulations. You will be able to renew your certification if you complete the renewal process within one month from the date the state of emergency is lifted (the date when the unavoidable circumstances cease). (For more details, please visit the website of the "Odor and Fragrance Environment Association.")
We apologize for the inconvenience and sincerely ask for your understanding.
