Case Study 2 of the Pipe Joint System 'NICO' Utilization within JALOC Company

Introducing the second installment of a series showcasing how the pipe joint system "NICO," which allows for the flexible assembly of various improvement tools, is utilized within JALOC! (You can check the first installment via the "Related Links" below.)
This time, we are introducing a stand for a cutting machine. It is a machine that electrically cuts stacked sheets of paper, but it is so heavy that it requires 2 to 3 people to lift, and its large size makes it difficult to find a place for it. To improve this, we created this stand. Considering room rearrangements, we equipped it with casters with stoppers so that it can be moved by one person. The stand part uses 12mm thick particle board to ensure stable placement on flat surfaces. It has a three-tier structure to accommodate other items and is reinforced with additional pipes to support the heavy cutting machine.
We look forward to sharing the next case study with you!
On our online store, we feature a column showcasing two new employees at JALOC as they go through the process of conceptualizing and assembling NICO items. Please take a look!
